Natalia Villar

Overview

Natalia Villar joined the firm in 2019 as an associate attorney. Having lived in Mexico for the first 17 years of her life, she is fully bilingual. Natalia has experience working on several immigration processes including: Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, U-Visas, DACA, DACA renewal, Asylum, and Waivers.

Education and Honors

Natalia graduate Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Global Studies focusing on Conflict Resolution in Latin America with a minor in Business Administration from Saint Edward’s University in Austin, Texas. In 2018, she received her J.D from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, ASU. She was recognized as a Willard H. Pedrick Scholar for academic excellence, and she received the CALI award for top grade in the Immigration Law and Policy Clinic.

Legal Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Natalia externed at the Prescott City Attorney’s Office and the American Civil Liberties Union. She also worked as a Law Clerk for Alex Navidad P.L.C., an immigration and criminal defense firm, and she was in the Immigration Law and Policy Clinic at ASU.

Personal Interests

Natalia was born in Texas, but she was raised in Mexico. She fluently speaks, reads, and writes Spanish. She is passionate about human rights, and she focuses that calling by helping immigrants reach their goals. In her free time, Natalia enjoys travelling and reading.
